Here is a tutorial demonstrating how to create a simple depth of field effect in Photoshop CS4. As most already know, the cheaper point-’n-click cameras leave much to be desired when trying to achieve this effect. More often than not, these units manifest shots where both foreground and background elements are at the same level of focus.
